Go On An Easter Egg Hunt

I don't remember going on Easter egg hunts as a kid. I honestly don't know if this is because we didn't go on them, or if I just don't remember doing it. As a parent, I am always trying to find fun and free activities to take my kids to. At 4 and 5 they have been to dozens of parades and to two Easter Egg hunts this year alone. In Tiffin, they had the kids segregated by age. The younger kids have a higher concentration of eggs inside the cones. Beyond that it turns into anybody's game. The advice that I gave both kids was
to ignore the eggs at the front because every other kid will be going for these. The trick is to run past the crowd and help yourself to all the eggs in the back. In this video, you can see Emery in a purple coat to the left at the beginning. Once the guy in the black shirt moves, you can see Tate booking it to the back. He is wearing a blue coat
Here is Tate's interview afterwards:
And Emery's:
What made me happiest about the whole thing is that once Tate's bucket was filled, he stopped. He wasn't hoarding eggs in his pockets. In fact, because he had gotten so many, he decided to give some of his eggs to two other boys that we were there with that didn't get as many eggs as he did. Emery, in a move as reflective of her as the video, also accepted some eggs from Tate.
